About me
I am thrilled to introduce myself and my husband, Seth, as the new publishers for Macaroni KID South St. Paul.
I am a true Twin Cities native. I grew up in the South St. Paul and West St. Paul areas and loved playing local sports and attending various community events. My husband is from the Boston area (and yes, we now watch all Red Sox and Patriots games in our household). We recently moved back to the Twin Cities from Arizona.
As we’ve been reacclimating to the area with our two young boys, we’ve been spending a ton of time each week looking for new, fun activities for us to do as a family, or events to keep our toddlers busy (and let’s be honest – tire them out!). It’s a lot of work! I constantly wonder how my mom found fun local events for us to do as kids – especially without the Internet!
As we were looking up events, we started telling other people about fun activities we found, and that’s how we knew we wanted to help a larger group. This is how we found Macaroni KID.
Our goal for this site is to make it easy for families and working parents to quickly find fun events to do with their kids each week. From educational to arts and crafts, sports, and everything in between, we’ll be sharing them with our community!
